Hi, and welcome to my web site! This site is primarily dedicated to the world of extended range basses (ERB's), i.e., basses with more than the standard 4 strings. Ever since I was first introduced to the concept through TalkBass (a worldwide online forum with over 100,000 bassists), I have been playing 6, 7 & 8 string basses. I hope you enjoy looking at my instruments and reading about some other really great basses, as well.

My primary bass affiliation is with FBB Custom Bass Works. Matt Schmill, the luthier that builds these basses for me, is a gifted artisan and has done wonderful work for me. I also play an electric vertical bass built by Barker Bass, and you'll find some info here about Barker, as well.
My favorite bass, a fretless 6 string built by FBB in 2000. This bass just sings, the tone is clean and and has that magnificent fretless voice! My wife LOVES this bass!
In addition to my bass fanaticism, I am a hard-core NY Football Giants fan! The Superbowl Champions in 1986, 1990 and 2007 seasons, I'm rooting for another ring in 2009!
